Due to the Coronavirus plaguing a vast majority of the globe, Private Division has announced that the Nintendo Switch version of The Outer Worlds has been delayed with no new date given. The team gave an update via Twitter explaining that the studio behind the port, Virtuos has had to close down their offices due to the outbreak of the Coronavirus. Thankfully, Private Division has confirmed that the team is ok and that they’ll just need more time to finish the port now. While delays certainly are never fun, as many titles recently have had delays, including Final Fantasy 7 and Cyberpunk, Private Division in the least has revealed that the retail version of the game will no longer be a digital-only code, but instead ship with a physical cartridge.

This news comes a week after Private Division announced the original release date, which was March 6. No new date was given though hopefully it’s still set to release later this year, even if it means towards the fall season.
