Spider-Man: Miles Morales 4K HDR mode is something that has fans curious and wondering how the games looks in that resolution on the PS5, and Insomniac Games has shown off a new tweet that with a teaser gif that promotes the striking visuals and improvements that come with 4K HDR running at 60 frames per second.

As detailed in our previous article, a “Performance Mode” will give players the option to turn 4K resolution on and render the game on 60fps. It’s not quite clear how this stands against a regular 30fps, but if the gif teaser is any indication — it will be very impressive. Ray-tracing will enhance the reflections in the game, and improved lighting, shadows, and character detailing will certainly be a leap forward in  augmenting the visuals and experience.

As Sony prepares to hold a “PS5 Showcase” digital event this Wednesday September 16, expect Insomniac to show a little more than just a tweet or gif of Miles Morales walking through the snowy streets of New York. This enhanced expansion of 2018’s Spider-Man for the PS4 has already gotten a lot of fans hungry and excited for what’s to come, and we’re all ready to play Miles’ story and swing through the city as his version of your friendly neighborhood Spider-Man.
