Shin Hokuto Musou Mobile is coming to iOS and Android users as a free-to-play title this 2020. Announced by Koei Tecmo and publisher Midas, the game is based on the popular “Hokuto no Ken/ Fist of the North Star” manga series by Buronson, and looks to be based on the 2012 Playstation 3 and Xbox 360 game Shin Hokuto Musou, which was ported to the west as Fist of the North Star: Ken’s Rage.

For a refresher, here’s an old gameplay trailer of Ken’s Rage 2 with Kenshiro unleashing his rage. Now imagine that being translated to mobile devices in Japan.

Shin Hokuto Musou Mobile will be an action-RPG at its core, but it will have in-app purchases and microtransactions that players have the option of spending money for. No other details have been released about the game, but it’s most likely that Koei Tecmo and Midas plan to show more of it at this year’s Tokyo Game Show digital event happening at the end of the month. In the meantime, it’s best to revisit your Fist of the North Star fandom and imagine hurling a hundred fists at an opponent before proclaiming “Omae Wa Mou Shindeiro” or “You’re Already Dead” to them.

Pre-registration for Shin Hokuto Musou Mobile is now open for Japanese players and can be found at the game’s official website.
