Fans that are excited to play the next chapter of Capcom’s Resident Evil series have a lot of reasons to look forward to the PlayStation 5 version, as Sony has outlined the features of Resident Evil Village for the PS5, as well as confirming that the game will support ray tracing and fast loading times.

As a direct sequel to 2017’s Resident Evil 7: Biohazard, RE Village will once again be put players in control of Ethan Winters and played from a first-person perspective. Set a few years after the events of RE7, Ethan’s world comes crashing down when Chris Redfield pays him a visit — setting off a chain of events that leads to a mysterious European village in a search for answers that can only lead to danger and tragedy.
