We’ve known for some time now that Final Fantasy 7 Remake would be a timed exclusive to the PlayStation 4, though it has yet to be revealed which platform the title is coming to. However, this appears to have been inadvertently confirmed as the latest video may have just revealed the Final Fantasy 7 Remake PC Version.
Dubbed as “Thank you for waiting” the video opens up with the text crawl found at the bottom of the screen “Gameplay captured on PC.” Check out the screenshot we’ve taken to see it yourself.
We’re not really surprised by this news given how even Sony has been advertising the title as a “Play first on PS4”, which clearly marked it as a multiplatform. Combining that, with other recent entries such as Death Stranding Horizon: Zero: Dawn, PC was always going to be a good multiplatform candidate for the FF7 Remake. It was only just a matter of time before the next platform would be revealed, and it appears to have happened sooner than expected. As for when it will release, PS4 has a timed exclusive deal until April 2021. In other Final Fantasy 7 Remake news, we published a spoiler-free Trophies list for the game which you might be interested in checking out. There’s also a launch trailer which contains spoilers, in case you’re interested.
