Remedy’s new AAA game is currently in development, as the studio announced today that it has struck a deal with Epic Games for two new multiplatform games.

This is what Remedy had to say about their new partnership:

We have some exciting news to share with you. Remedy has signed a deal with Epic Games to publish Remedy’s next two unannounced video games. The games are part of Epic Games’ new, developer-first publishing effort, giving full creative freedom and IP ownership to development partners such as Remedy.

As for what these titles will be? Well, that’s still a mystery, though Remedy has described their first project to be their most ambitious AAA game yet. The second was confirmed to be on a much smaller scale, though apparently will share the same universe as the main project.  Both will be developed using Remedy’s proprietary, state-of-the-art Northlight game engine, and tools.

We’ll be sure to cover any news related to Remedy’s new AAA game, though we don’t expect to hear much of anytime soon since it just started development. Both titles will be releasing within the next few years, on both the Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5, along with PC. In the meantime, be sure to check out their current title, Control, which just received a new expansion known as the Foundation.
