NieR Replicant ver.1.22474487139 was announced at the Tokyo Game Show by Square Enix and Toylogic, bringing a new and updated version of the classic to PS4, Xbox One, and PC via Steam early next year.

As a modern retelling of NieR Replicant, which was originally released in Japan in 2010 — this new edition of the game celebrates its 10th anniversary as well as bringing the prequel chapter of NieR:Automata to western audiences for the first time. The protagonist is a kind young man living in a remote village. In order to save his sister Yonah, who fell terminally ill to the Black Scrawl, he sets out with Grimoire Weiss, a strange talking tome, to search for the “Sealed verses.”
