Insomniac Games has released the Marvel’s Spider-Man Miles Morales update 1.06 (also on PS5 as Marvel’s Spider-Man Miles Morales update 1.006.002), today, and it’s for fixes, as one might expect. Thankfully, Insomniac Games is patching the game simultaenously, which can’t be said for every cross-gen game available.

Marvel’s Spider-Man Miles Morales Update 1.06 (PS5 1.006.002) Patch Notes:

Here’s what got changed via the update history:

  • Fixed issue with selecting “Day” in weather selection
  • Improved stability
  • Performance improvements
  • Various additional fixes

Don’t expect any new content with this title update. However, if you notice any gameplay-related changes and other fixes not mentioned above, hit us up in the comments to let us know.

If you haven’t picked the game up yet, our review gave it a glowing 9.5/10 and said the following:

Peter Park may be the original Spider-Man, someone that many will always think of when they hear the webslinger’s name. And while Peter strives to protect all of New York, he doesn’t truly represent everyone. He isn’t someone we can truly look up to and envision us behind the mask. Miles Morales is different. Miles is a Spider-Man who represents countless individuals who feel overlooked, unheard, and disrespected. A Spider-Man that understands the struggles that others might not. A Spider-Man I can look at and say, “we aren’t so different.”

Marvel’s Spider-Man Miles Morales is out now on the PS4 and PS5.
