Insomniac Games has stealth released the Marvel’s Spider-Man Miles Morales update 01.0007.001 patch on the PS5! This title update should please PS5 gamers, as it adds ray tracing to a new Performance mode!
Marvel’s Spider-Man Miles Morales Update 01.0007.001 Patch Notes:
This is the new Performance mode players will see upon applying the update (via ReptileScorpio):
As you can see, the “Performance RT” graphics mode has the following features:
This is an alternate version of the 60 frames per second “Performance” mode, adding ray-tracing by adjusting the scene resolution, reflection quality, and pedestrian density.
While this isn’t actual new content to chew on for the game, this is still a welcome patch for most (including this guy), who wants choices on how our games look and play.
If you haven’t picked it up yet, check out our review of Spider-Man Miles Morales where we state:
Peter Park may be the original Spider-Man, someone that many will always think of when they hear the webslinger’s name. And while Peter strives to protect all of New York, he doesn’t truly represent everyone. He isn’t someone we can truly look up to and envision us behind the mask. Miles Morales is different. Miles is a Spider-Man who represents countless individuals who feel overlooked, unheard, and disrespected. A Spider-Man that understands the struggles that others might not. A Spider-Man I can look at and say, “we aren’t so different.”
Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales is out now on the PS4 and PS5.
