Death Stranding Photo Mode feature is finally happening, as game director, Hideo Kojima confirmed today along with a short demonstration.
Taking to his Twitter feed, Kojima published a new short clip showing off some of the features of Death Stranding’s Photo Mode that’ll launch with the PC version of the game come this June.
These are some examples from the Photo Mode in the PC ver. We will introduce on how to create them in another video later. Me, and some staffs that loves to take photos enjoyed making this Mode! Available, June 2nd.

We can already tell that players are going to have an absolute blast with playing around with the feature come launch of the PC version. Currently, there is no news whether or not the PlayStation 4 version of Death Stranding would see Photo mode added via an update, though we would be surprised if it didn’t. Photo mode has been a stapled feature for PlayStation exclusives, making its way into titles such as Days Gone, God of War, Horizon Zero Dawn, and Marvel’s Spider-Man. It was an odd exclusion when the game launched last year on the PlayStation 4, though that hasn’t stopped players from enjoying the sights and taking beautiful in-game screenshots. Hopefully, the feature does make it’s way on over to the PlayStation 4.
In related Death Stranding news, Kojima also announced that the team (Kojima Production) and Valve are teaming up for a Half-life cross-over. This will include some cosmetics themed around the Half-life series. You can watch the latest Death Stranding PC trailer down below, which shows off many of the features coming to the PC version and the Half-life cosmetics.
Death Stranding is now available on the PlayStation 4, with the PC version releasing on June 2 on both Steam and Epic Game Store. The title will be shipping with anti-piracy measure Denuvo.
