The much-acclaimed Dead Cells is getting it’s first paid DLC next month as the release date and a new trailer have been released for Dead Cells the Bad Seed.

Developers Motion Twin and Evil Empire confirmed in a press release today that beginning February 11th, players who own Dead Cells on any platform (PlayStation 4, PC, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch) will be able to buy the newest DLC titled “The Bad Seed”. It’ll cost a pretty reasonable price of $4.99 and introduce a new playable area, along with weapons, bosses and a few more surprises. You can catch the latest trailer down below which highlights some of the major content dropping with this DLC.

As with the many game-changing updates the game has received since it’s early access release on Steam, The Bad Seed will be implemented in the main campaign from the get-go and be accessible via the many alternatives paths players can take.

Of course, given how long the developers have already supported the game with many content updates, the creative director of Evil Empire assured fans that support would continue and that they have a “butt-load” of content planned for Dead Cells.

Dead Cells is currently available on the PlayStation 4, PC, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch for $24.99. If you haven’t played it yet, I highly recommend it if you are a fan of rogue-like games. Personally, I can easily place this amongst the top favorite games of all time.
