Looks like gamers and fans looking forward to CD Projekt Red’s upcoming futuristic action-role playing game Cyberpunk 2077 will have to wait a bit longer than expected, as the developer has announced over their social media pages that the game has been delayed yet again — with a new release date scheduled this December.
Here’s the official announcement of the delay via the Cyberpunk 2077 Twitter page.

Despite the fact that the developers were crunching and putting overtime work to getting the game out this November, shipping to various systems and next-gen consoles was the main issue that caused the delay.
The biggest challenge for us right now is shipping the game on current-gen, next gen, and PC at the same time, which requires us to prepare and test 9 versions of it (Xvox One/ X, compatibility on Xbox Series S/X, PS4/ Pro, compatibility on PS5, PC, Stadia)… while working from home. Since Cyberpunk 2077 evolved towards almost being a next-gen title somewhere along the way, we need to make sure everything works well and every version runs smoothly.

Cyberpunk 2077 is now scheduled to hit all systems and PC on December 10.
