What appears to be from the upcoming trailer, a new batch of screenshots along with Crash Bandicoot 4 release date has been leaked online.
Down below you’ll find a set of images that are making their way around the internet, confirming not only the release date of Crash 4, but also a look at the game’s gameplay
Interestingly enough, from the leaked screenshots above it would appear that Cortex will be playable in the new Crash Bandicoot game. He won’t, however, be the only playable as the leaked Crash 4 pre-order bonuses also confirm that Coco will be returning as a playable character as well.
Looking at this screenshot also reveals something interesting as the Xbox is the only platform highlighted here. We know from the previous leak that the title is coming to PlayStation 4, however, this may suggest that Xbox is getting some sort of platform-exclusive content. Either that or Microsoft has secured some sort of marketing rights? I guess we will find out on Monday.
Finally, we now have an official Crash Bandicoot 4 release date as another leaked image marks it for October 9.
Crash is relaxing and exploring his island in his time, 1998, when he finds a mysterious mask hidden away in a cave, Lani-Loli. The mask is one of the Quantum Masks and apparently knows Aku-Aku, Crash’s mask friend! With the Quantum Masks returning and a Quantum Rift appearing near our heroes, they decide to bravely head through to different times and dimensions to stop whoever is responsible.
Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time will be releasing on the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in October with no confirmation of a Nintendo Switch version. The title will also be shipped with Xbox Series X enhancements. It is currently expected that this Monday we will see a trailer drop during the Summer Game Fest, we’ll be sure to have it posted here if that does indeed happen, so stay tuned.
