During today’s gamescom Opening Night digital event, Toys for Bob announced that Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time will have what the studio calls Flashback levels. This will give players the ability to rewind time back to the ’90s, though one with less elephant jeans and boybands for sure.
Here’s a few screenshots as well as the offiical description straight from the press release.
The Flashback levels are designed to challenge players’ puzzle solving and technical performing abilities. They also give fans even more ways to play. Through the collection of Flashback Tapes, players discover Crash and Coco’s origin story and experience Bandicoot training in Neo Cortex’s Test Chambers – but the task won’t be easy.
Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time will be released this October 2 on the PS4 and Xbox One. You can check out the latest gameplay video for it here.
