Set during the Viking invasion of England during the ninth century, Assassin’s Creed Valhalla is the twelfth major installment in the long running action adventure role playing game franchise, and will see players take control of the raider Eivor as he helps guides his people to establish settlements in the new lands they’ve conquered. Much like previous entries, this is a fictional tale set in the backdrop of historical events, and will also follow the present day with Layla Hassan — who was introduced in Assassin’s Creed Origins and Odyssey.
