Assassin’s Creed Valhalla launch is almost upon us, and it will launch with a small sized Assassin’s Creed Valhalla day one update.

Recently uploaded to PSN database, new update (1.01) has been pushed out for the yet to be released, Assassin’s Creed Valhalla. This update focuses on some balancing (not detailed) along with performance improvements.

Assassin’s Creed Valhalla Day One Update Patch Notes:

  • Fine-tuned the balancing of the game
  • Improved performance and stability
  • Miscellaneous bug fixes

Further more the update is a little less than 3GB. With a release date that is still 15 days out, it’s possible that there will be another update from now until then, but players can expect the changes listed above at launch.

Those who plan on buying the game digitally, this update will be included in the initial download or preload (if pre-ordered). No details on when the preload will be live yet, but Xbox One users should expect it real soon. PlayStation buyers can expect the preload to go live the previous Wednesday or Sunday. If you purchase a physical disc this update will be waiting for you once you install the title and connect to the internet. This update is expected to be available on both next-gen consoles, though the size may vary.
