Microsoft and 343 Industries look back on the history of Halo to help build the future of Halo. In a video published by the studio today titled ” We Are 343 Industries,” the developers go over a brief history of the series’ development, giving players an inside look at the inner works of the team.

Not a whole lot of new shown in the video, but it is a nice look to see the faces that will be behind the upcoming Halo game, Halo Infinite. Hopefully, with them taking the feedback of the community, Halo Infinite is more of what the fans want rather than a complete departure.

343 Industries first started working on Halo in 2007 after Bungie’s departure. Since then, they have developed Halo 4, Halo: The Master Chief Collection, Halo 5, and a few others. As of late, they have been working on porting the Halo: Master Chief Collection for PC along with the development of Halo Infinite that is scheduled to release on the PC, Xbox Series X and Xbox One consoles.

Halo Infinite is currently targeting a Holiday 2020 launch, coinciding with the release of the next-gen Xbox, the Xbox Series X. The console will bring a number of major graphical improvements, along with performance and is set to also support XCloud, Microsoft’s cloud gaming streaming service.
